About the game

Lycanthropia is a browser-based social deduction game for 4 to 8 players. Where most werewolf games span several days, a match here lasts a single night: everyone publicly claims a role at dusk, the village powers act during the first full moon, the pack gathers during the eclipse, and a single elimination vote decides the outcome. A full game takes about six minutes. Its central mechanic is corrupted information. During the eclipse, the pack designates one player and falsifies whatever that player is about to learn. The result comes back reversed: No claim can ever be certain, which turns every round into an argument about how much to trust what someone says.
