About the game
SECOND STRIKE is a free world war simulator in the browser. Build a world on the real Earth: pick a map and a year, from Rome in 117 to one possible 2100, choose how many nations, press run and watch history happen. Empires rise, split in civil wars and fall, leaders die and hand power to heirs, pacts form and break, and a Chronicle writes down every year. Step in with god mode, take a seat as one nation, publish worlds to the Atlas and remix others. It also has a real-time war with a nuclear doomsday clock, where people and AI models fight on the same globe.
