About the game
Tattie Bogle is a roguelite action-strategy game for 1-4 players, played solo or in online co-op. A Tomte, a gnome from Scandinavian folklore, brings a farmer's scarecrow to life, and the player defends the farm's crops from waves of pests across four shifts of the day - deer and rabbits at dawn, bears in the afternoon, and ghouls and mushroom goblins at night. Players fight with garden tools and a fear ability, build trenches, lures, stinging nettles and spook stones during waves, and leave notes that tell the farmer which seeds and tools to buy. Crops left in the field are sold to keep the farm running, while crops the scarecrow harvests become crafting materials. Buried folklore relics grant powers with drawbacks. When the farm is overrun the run resets, and advancement points buy permanent upgrades.
